Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
JOSEF CHROMY |
Bright very pale straw colour. Fairly attractive, slightly spicy, bright ripe lemon-apple nose. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, bright, tangy, fresh, ripe apple-lemon flavours with a lingering, very crisp, faintly toasty, high acid finish. The lot number L020315 appears on the lower part of the glass bottle. Not up to the recommended best buy 2008 (***) released on December 6, 2014 at $29.95 (cspc 393629). |

TASTING NOTE: Pale straw-bronze; in a proverbial straight jacket, needing years to release and unwind, although patience will be rewarded. Minerally acidity is the driver right now. Drink by: 2020. Score - 92 (James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au, July 26, 2014) |
