PANSY! ROSÉ 2014 Hawke's Bay, North Island
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer KIM CRAWFORD
Very bright reddish rose colour. Very gently sweet, honeyed, ripe strawberry-cherry nose. Off-dry, medium-light bodied, fairly spicy, medium-light bodied, plum-cherry-apple-strawberry flavours with a tangy, unoaked finish. Screwcap closure. Has 13.5% alcohol and supposedly 4 g/L residual sugar although it tastes much sweeter. This entry level style is not up to the 2013 (**) released on March 29, 2014 at $17.95. CSPC 650325
