Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
LA CADIERENNE |
Bright day-glo very light salmon pink colour. Very gently spicy, ripe plum-apple nose with some hints of cantaloupe. Zesty, fairly dry, medium-light bodied, harmonious, ripe apple-melon-plum flavours with a crisp, unoaked finish. Better than the 2012 (*+/**) released on August 3, 2013 at $18.95. |

TASTING NOTE: Medium to almost full-bodied for rosé. Lovely flavours of summer strawberries and raspberries on the nose of this French rose. Dry and refreshing. Works as an aperitif or companion to seafood. Finishes with windswept lavender and wild herbs. Highly recommended. Pair with: salmon steaks, green salads with fresh fruit. Drink: [Till] 2016. Score - 91 (Natalie MacLean, nataliemaclean.com, Feb. 2015) |
