TASTING NOTE: A lovely, fun fruity, off-dry sparkling gamay in the ancestrale method (bottled while still fermenting), though seemingly drier than previous vintages of this from Hinterland. That's likely due to high, bright acids that give this a sweet-sour tang, with strawberry, cranberry and cherry flavours to match. This is the sort of low alcohol (8%) wine you can sip all day and night without tiring. I'd make this my start to brunch for a lively palate wake up and a smile. Tasted December 2014. Score - 88 (John Szabo, M.S., winealign.com, Dec. 23, 2014) Price $ 25.00
