RÉSERVE BRUT CRÉMANT DE BOURGOGNE Traditional method, AC, Burgundy, France
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer BAILLY LAPIERRE
Not presented at the press and consultants preview in the LCBO lab. Here is my tasting note for the half bottle (cspc 641423): Bright medium straw colour. Attractive, fairly complex, mineral-tinged, ripe lemon nose. Very dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, ripe lemon flavours with a lingering, crisp, effervescent finish. Delicious Champagne-inspired value - quite lovely and ready-to-drink. Last appeared in Vintages (**) on November 22, 2014 at $19.95 and was an Explorer Selection. CSPC 991562

TASTING NOTE: Effectively a Blanc de Blancs, although not labeled as such, this is a crisp, steely, mineral wine. It has a Chablis-like cut and thrust of citrus and apple fruit flavors, bright and fruity, although with an attractive bottle age toast. Score - 91 (Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast, Nov. 1, 2013) Price $ 19.95
Bottle Size 750 mL
Tasting Date vintages release - July 25, 2015
