Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, somewhat herbal, plum-cherry nose with some cedary, mocha-chocolate notes. Fairly dry, medium bodied, vibrant, spicy, rather herbal, plum-cherry flavours with a crisp, cedary, mocha-chocolate finish. Has 14% alcohol and 8 g/L residual sugar. with lot number L15063 on the back label. Not up to the 2011 (*+/**) released on October 11, 2014 at $15.95. CSPC 384305

TASTING NOTE: The 2012 Kaiken Terroir Series Cabernet Sauvignon, formally known as Kaiken Corte, includes 12% Malbec and 8% Petit Verdot in the blend. The nose is layered and complex with suggestions of cherry, cassis, plum, tobacco, coconut and vanilla. Balanced and structured, there is a pleasing richness to the flavours and a caressing quality to the tannins. A lot of wine here for the price. (VINTAGES panel, Oct. 2014) Price $ 15.95
