BRUT RÉSERVE CHAMPAGNE AC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CHARLES HEIDSIECK
Maturing very bright medium yellow colour. Intense, attractive, complex, ripe lemon meringue nose with some mineral-tinged, toasty notes. Dry, bright, medium bodied, well structured, complex, ripe lemon flavours followed by a lingering, gently toasty, high acid finish. Harmonious with fine effervescence. Fine value for anyone who enjoys the complex “gout Anglais” Champagne style. According to the back label this was “Laid in chalk cellars in: 2008; Disgorged in : 2014”. Fairly similar to when it last appeared in Vintages (***) on November 9, 2013 at $59.95 and was Recommended Best Buy. The lot number L150041-4070 appears on the capsule. CSPC 36962

A Best Buy
TASTING NOTE: Fresh and fruity while also rich and full in the mouth, this is a superbly balanced non vintage selection. It is not quite dry with its apple and citrus fruits both given some softness. Disgorged in 2012, it already has two years bottle age that has rounded out the wine. Drink now. Score - 93 (Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast, Dec. 2014) Price $ 69.95
Bottle Size 750 mL
