CHÂTEAU DE SELLE ROSÉ 2014 AC Côtes de Provence |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |

DOMAINES OTT |
Extremely pale bright light orange colour. Very slightly spicy, gently honeyed, ripe plum nose with some floral notes. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, mineral-tinged, slightly spicy, gently plummy, melon-apple flavours with a crisp, unoaked finish. Has 13.5% alcohol and only 2 g/L residual sugar. Better than the 2013 (**+) with 13% alcohol released on July 5, 2014 at $46.95. Still way too pricey for me. |

The wines of Domaines Ott are a must for any seeking to raise their wine consciousness to new heights. In short, they are a master class in rosé, producing some of the most serious and renowned of these wines in the world. Once you experience the complexity, fruit intensity and smoky mineral notes of these wines, you'll see why they're so prized by the cognoscenti. The finish on this one is long and fresh, with a universe of layered garrigue notes. |
