Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |

BENJAMIN BRIDGE) |
Light pink colour. Sweet, honeyed, very spicy, slightly spearminty, honeysuckle-lychee-apple puree nose. Gently sweet, medium-light to light bodied attractive, honeyed, apple-cherry-melon-lychee-Muscat flavours with a lingering, crisp, faintly effervescent finish. Has 7% alcohol and 74 g/L residual sugar with 11,000 cases produced. Screwcap closure. As the 2014 is available, I was surprised that this is a repeat of the 2013 (**+) released on July 19, 2014 at $25.95. |

TASTING NOTE: Wonderful exotic note to the floral tones on the nose along with candied citrus, candied ginger, lychee and Asian pear. Light and frothy - it's got a light 'frizzante' sparkle, like Moscato d'Asti - with a kiss of sweetness followed by sour acidity. Dynamic and attractive, this is a fun, lip-smacking wine with a lively finish that's perfect for sipping or with sushi, Thai salads or fresh fruit. (VINTAGES panel, June 2014) |
