Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, spicy, dusty dried cherry nose with lots of cedary notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, fairly juicy, roasted plums and black cherries with hints of cassis and mocha-chocolate followed by a lingering finish. that shows good acidity. Try with BBQ ribs. This recently bottled repeat (L2015/05/12 meaning that it was bottled on May 12, 2015) is not up to the recommended best buy 2012 (**/**+) released on May 2, 2015 at $19.95.
