CÔTE DES ROSES ROSÉ 2014 AP Languedoc |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
GÉRARD BERTRAND |
Bright very pale light salmon pink colour. Slightly spicy, faintly honeyed, gently fruity, plum-apple nose. Thankfully dry (only 3 g/L residual sugar), medium-light bodied, slightly spicy, pleasant, fresh, berry-tinged, melon-plum-apple flavours with a crisp, unoaked finish. Attractive bottle and ready-to-drink. The recommended 2013 (**/**+) was released on February 7, 2015 at $18.95. |

A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection! |
Yes, this does come in a unique and eye-catching bottle with a cool glass stopper, but even more impressive is what's inside. Gérard Bertrand crafts this blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah in a rich and serious style that will evoke notions of roses, strawberry fruit and garrigue. Try this with a charcuterie platter. |
