CHARLES DURET |
Pale straw colour. Very gently complex, very slightly spicy, ripe lemon nose. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, ripe lemon-melon flavours with a lingering, crisp, harmonious, finish with good effervescence. Similar to when it last appeared in Vintages (**/**+) on December 7, 2013 at $18.95 and was Recommended. |

TASTING NOTE: A soft and easy sparkling wine with a fine mousse. It suggests aromas and flavours of white flowers, lemon and bread. Quite an enjoyable wine that will work as an aperitif but has the vibrancy to serve as a palate cleanser during the meal. (VINTAGES panel, Feb. 2015) |
