DOM PÉRIGNON LUMINOUS COLLECTION ROSÉ 2004 AC |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
MOËT & CHANDON |
Bright light salmon colour. Very slightly spicy, ripe, plummy, fairly honeyed, raspberry-pink grapefruit nose. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, very slightly spicy, fresh, bright, ripe plum flavours with some grapefruit notes on the lingering, effervescent finish. Quite delicious, smooth and ready-to-drink although the $323.95 price tag is daunting. |

TASTING NOTE: The 2004 Dom Pérignon Rosé has put on remarkable weight over the last year or so. A rich, voluptuous wine, the 2004 Rosé hits the palate with stunning depth and resonance. The flavors are bold, rich and beautifully resonant from start to finish. Raspberry, cranberry, smoke, spice and crushed rocks build to the stunning, powerful finish. Vinous and ample, the 2004 Rosé will drink well for decades. The 2004 just keeps getting better with time in bottle. Score - 96 (Antonio Galloni, vinousmedia.com, July 2015) |
