A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection! |
With more than seven years under its belt, expect this wine to have begun to evolve some dried fruit and leather character in addition to fresh fruit. TASTING NOTE: The 2008 Callejon del Crimen Malbec Gran Reserva exhibits a similar personality with loads of black cherry fruit and a sense of elegance. It, too, will evolve for several years and drink well through 2023. Score - 92 (Jay Miller, erobertparker.com, Dec. 2011) |
