Fairly dry, medium-light bodied, slightly spicy, fairly ripe melon-apple puree flavours with a crisp, effervescent, unoaked finish. Ready-to-drink. This new shipment has 12% alcohol with a new lot number L151557OR30 on the capsule. Last appeared in Vintages (*/*+) on July 25, 2015 at $19.95 and is still available on the shelves. Winner of a Gold Medal at the 2015 Concours Général Agricole, Paris. TASTING NOTE: Effectively a Blanc de Blancs, although not labeled as such, this is a crisp, steely, mineral wine. It has a Chablis-like cut and thrust of citrus and apple fruit flavors, bright and fruity, although with an attractive bottle age toast.
