HOMMAGE FRANÇOIS HÉMART ÄY BRUT GRAND CRU CHAMPAGNE AC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer HENRI GIRAUD
Bright medium straw colour. Gently complex, faintly toasty, warm brioche nose with some warm ripe lemon notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, harmonious, ripe lemon-melon-apple flavours with a lingering, crisp, faintly toasty finish with good effervescence. A classy effort. CSPC 436071

TASTING NOTE: A firm backbone of acidity frames this spicy, vibrant Champagne, joining the finely woven flavors of poached quince, white raspberry, pastry, lemon curd and candied ginger. This evokes raw silk in texture, revealing minerally hints of chalk and fleur de sel on the lasting finish. Drink now through 2021.
