TASTING NOTE: (all pinot noir): Bright yellow. Ripe pear and red currant on the toasty, deeply scented nose. Chewy orchard fruit and orange pith flavors show a refreshingly bitter quality and a hint of buttered toast. A chalky nuance adds lift and bite to the clinging finish, which leaves a subtle chamomile note behind. Score - 90 (Josh Raynolds, vinousmedia.com, Dec. 2013) |
