A Best Buy
In their 2014 edition, Guide Hachette awarded this wine their highest honour, a perfect 3 stars out of 3, which signifies an Exceptional Wine. TASTING NOTE: Four generations into its tenure as grower-producers, the Delouvin family turns out 100,000 bottles annually. That might sound big but it pales next to the millions sold by larger houses. This bone-dry white transported me, figuratively speaking, back to Paris's famous Poilâne bakery (a favourite hangout merely for the heady aroma) with its farmhouse-bread essence, which mingles marvelously with the rich apple-like fruitiness in the wine. Highly recommended ... Score - 92 (Beppi Crosariol, theglobeandmail.com, Dec. 4, 2014) Price $ 44.95
