Btld. in 2013, Sherry finish TASTING NOTE: This rare Irish single malt was aged for over 14 years in Bourbon barrels before finishing in Oloroso Sherry barrels. Whiffs of hay bale, roasted nuts, sponge toffee, caramel corn and graham cracker with undertones of baked apple delight the nose. On the palate it's smooth, rich and inviting, with toffee notes, spiced tea, dried apricot and candied orange peel. No water required to enjoy this one, but a splash brings out soaring praline, marmalade and fresh apricot notes. A contemplative sipping whiskey with an easygoing personality.
