A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection! |
Traditionally made sparkling wines are for more than just great parties (although those are fun, too). Good bubblies like this pretty-in-pink Crémant from Burgundy are incredibly food-friendly. Look for aromas of dried cherries, cranberry and apples, a moderate mousse, juicy fruit flavours embroidered by mineral and baked bread notions, and a long, refreshing finish. Pair with baked salmon or hors d'oeuvres. |
