TASTING NOTE: The 2014 Alamos Chardonnay mixes fruit from Agrelo and the Uco Valley that fermented in a mixture of stainless-steel and cement tanks. Part of the wine is matured in oak barrels for six months while the rest is kept in stainless steel and cement, then blended and bottled. The nose is ripe with yellow fruit, nicely spiced and has lactic hints. The medium-bodied palate is accessible and easy to drink ... Ideal for white meats and light foods, as the winemaking is very subtle and does not dominate at all. Drink: 2015-2017. Score - 88 (Luis Gutierrez, erobertparker.com, Aug. 2015) Price $ 14.95
