Very deep purple red colour. Intense, spicy, somewhat cedary, stewed plum-cherry nose with some leathery sandalwood notes. Dry, quite well structured, medium bodied, slightly spicy, baked plum, red cherry flavours with a somewhat cedary, sandalwood finish. Has 13.5% alcohol and 6 g/L residual sugar. Big and voluptuous in the mouth with a complex array of red cherry, raspberry, blueberry, vanilla and leather notes. Nicely structured with a fine seam of acidity and a long, savoury finish.
