BRUT ROSÉ 2010 WO Western Cape, Méthode Cap Classique, South Africa
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer GRAHAM BECK
Very pale salmon colour. Very attractive, fairly spicy, bright, ripe, plummy, cherry nose with some mineral notes. Dry, very well balanced, medium bodied, gently juicy, subtle, ripe plum and cherry flavours with a lingering, crisp, gently complex finish. Terrific quality for the money - refined with excellent effervescence. This blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay has has 12% alcohol and only 9 g/L residual sugar with lot number L16011 on the back label which says that this batch was disgorged in November 2015 meaning that it had an amazing 5 years on the lees! What a deal - don’t miss it. TONY ASPLER / -90-points / BEST BUY - Very pale pink in colour with a nose of red berries; medium-bodied, dry, mouth-filling yellow plum and raspberry flavours with good length. CSPC 4085
