TASTING NOTE: The 2013 Alamos Seleccion Malbec is sourced exclusively from the Uco Valley, a cooler part of Mendoza. 2013 was a fresh vintage that produced a very fresh and serious wine. Only 30% of it matured in barrel. It feels like a serious Malbec with nice concentration and complex aromas mixing fruit, flowers and spices. The palate is medium to full-bodied with prodigious balance, refined tannins and very good length. Dead gorgeous and a bargain for the quality delivered. Drink: 2015-2018.
