Very Sweet, Ripe Strawberry Jam
LCBO Note Status A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection!
TASTING NOTE: This is a very bright, typical and clean icewine with gently lifted aromas of strawberry/cherry jam, herbs and a hint of vanilla. It's very sweet but backed by fine acidity and dusty, slightly green tannin. Excellent length. Lots of vitality, which I prize most in red icewine. Tasted November 2014. Score - 90 (David Lawrason, winealign.com, Jan. 1, 2015) Price $ 39.95
Bottle Size 200 mL
