Bright very light yellow colour. Attractive, slightly spicy, fresh ripe apple-yellow plum nose. Dry, medium-light bodied, tangy, very gently grassy, ripe lemon-apple flavours with a crisp, unoaked finish. FYI the 2005 (*) was released on June 9, 2007 at $26.95. TONY ASPLER / 87-points - Grassy, green plum and passion fruit nose; medium-bodied, dry, crisp green apple flavour with a touch of oxidation on the finish. This blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc, 25% Sémillon and 5% Muscadelle has 13% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 28845

TASTING NOTE: This comes from the owners of Chateau Haut-Brion and is named for the American financier, Clarence Dillon (1882-1979) who purchased Haut-Brion in 1935. The Clarendelle Blanc is a blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc, 25% Sémillon and 5% Muscadelle, and is notably floral with crisp apple and lime citrus tones.
