| Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, somewhat dusty, juicy, plum-cherry nose with some cedar-licorice notes. Dry, tangy, medium bodied, spicy, plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, crisp, somewhat cedary finish. Has 13.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number L16238 on the on the back label. Not up to the 2014 (*+/**) with 87-points released on December 12, 2015 at $15.95. Note that the previous 2014 shipment came with a screwcap closure, this 2015 does not! |
