| Deep brown colour with a yellow rim. Intense, herbal, orange citrus nose. Extremely dense, medium-full bodied, rich, somewhat sweet and bitter bitter, intense, herbal-driven, orange peel flavours with a lingering, high acid finish. This 42% alcohol liqueur is based on more than 90 fruits, berries and herbs and is distilled in Dusseldorf. | TASTING NOTE: ... the recipe for this traditional herbal liqueur dates back to the mid 1800s-\"a taste of old Dusseldorf.\" Old or new, it's complex and delicious, with a Cognac-like dried-fruit and spice base - raisins, dates, cherries, figs, cinnamon, sarsaparilla and black pepper all can be detected.
