TASTING NOTE: Jack Teeling comes from a family steeped in the history and making of Irish whiskey. This independent bottling of the Teeling Whiskey Company is non-chill filtered and finished in ex-Flor de Cana rum barrels to give an extra sweet, smooth flavour. Pale amber, it has a gentle, sweet entry on the palate with vanilla, spice and sweet notes of rum. It finishes firm with an undertone of spice and wood. Very approachable and friendly, it will appeal to both whisky neophytes and aficionados. Score - 91 (Margaret Swaine, winealign.com, Oct. 14, 2014) Price $ 55.95
