Another in a line of exceptional single cask bottlings by the independent bottler Signatory. As with other examples, Signatory purchased the barrel from Dailuaine (pronounced ‘Dal-oo-ayn’) and then aged it in their own cellars. In Gaelic, Dailuane means ‘the green vale’, which accurately describes the lush landscape around the distillery. Aberlour is a neighbour. Dailuane, rarely seen as a single bottling in our market, has been part of the Johnnie Walker blends for decades. |
