Grappa di Bassano is named for the town that was for centuries the centre of grappa production in Veneto. Established by Jacopo’s grandfather, the Poli operation is located in the nearby town of Schiavon and is still a family affair with Jacopo as the head, brother Andrea the grappa master, older brother Gianpaolo, who does the bottling and sister Barbara, who looks after the business side. |
