The famed Nonino distilling clan (established in 1897; the third and fourth generation now run the distillery) were responsible, along with Sandro Bottega and others, in raising the awareness of grappa as a quality spirit. Since the beginning, they have been based in Percoto in Italy’s Friuli region. The Tocai grape is aromatic and gives this grappa its bright aroma and fruity palate. Enjoy only slightly chilled out of the traditional tulip-shaped grappa glass. |
