| Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, slightly spicy, baked plum-cherry nose with some faintly herbal, cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, quite extracty, intense, fairly ripe, plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, high acid finish. Best with roast beef. Has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. |

| TASTING NOTE: Concentrated dried blackberry, roasted plum and dark chocolate flavors mix easily in this muscular blend. Creamy notes show mid palate, with a finish flooded with Asian spice details. Strikes a good balance between power and flavor. Drink now through 2019. Score - 90 (Kim Marcus, winespectator.com, Dec. 31, 2015) |
