TASTING NOTE: The 2012 Stone Soil Select Malbec comes from chalky patches in different zones in the south of the Uco Valley, next to the Tunuyán river. You can notice the extra ripeness and the additional bottle time of the 2012 vintage, which showed something earthy, even the texture of the tannins. There are floral and balsamic herbs along with a good purity of fruit and length. Drink Date: 2015-2018. Score - 91 (Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com, Aug. 27, 2015) Price $ 19.95
