| Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, slightly spicy, plum-blueberry nose with some cedary, marshy, faintly herbal cattail notes. Fairly dry, medium-full bodied, dense, well structured, slightly spicy, tangy, baked cherry-plum flavours with a lingering, cedary, high acid, somewhat peppery finish. This REPEAT has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a new lot number L17153 on the back label. Does not seem up to the previous shipment of 2015 (**) released on July 8, 2017 at $19.95. Lots of the previous shipment is still available in many Vintages outlets. |
