| Bright deep yellow colour. Sweet, Seville orange marmalade nose with some slightly dusty caramel notes. Sweet, medium bodied, quite well structured, harmonious, ripe lemon-apricot-Seville orange marmalade flavours with a lingering, somewhat candied, caramel finish. Quite tasty but not a detour at the $49.95 price. This Vintages Essential has 10.5% alcohol and 256 g/L residual sugar. TONY ASPLER / 92-points - A nose of honey, mango and citrus fruit; medium-bodied, sweet, rich and full on the palate with great tension between sweetness and acidity. |
