|The only remaining distillery on Arran Island, Arran ferments their barley in washbacks (large wooden vessels) made from Oregon pine and distills using tall, swan-necked copper stills. This example was aged in oak for eight years before being finished in Port casks. The resulting dram will have plenty of the expressive sweet fruit that distinguishes Arran single malts, along with vanilla, spice, honey, nuts and citrus.
