\"Telteca\" is the Huarpe word for \"ripe fruit,'' a descriptor that suits the Roble Bonarda to a T. Floral, ripe and juicy, with impressive red and purple fruit, spice, refined tannins, superb balance and integration and a long, elegant finish. There's a neat Canadian connection here as well: The Agostino family moved to Canada in the '60s, but the Agostino brothers never forgot their time working the vineyards of Mendoza with their grandfather and returned there in 2003 to open Finca Agostino. Telteca is their second label. Price $ 14.95
