Tasting note: Typically clear until the water is added [whereupon it turns cloudy], Ouzo Plomari has an intense anise-blackball nose but it’s light and easygoing on the palate, with some peppery spice in the finish. Score – 89. (Patricia Noonan, Wine Access “First In Line E-Report”, Dec. 2002) Food match: add water, enjoy with mezedes (the Greek version of tapas). Price $ 19.95
