LCBO Note Status
The 2016 vintage in Niagara was warm enough to give this wine plenty of ripe apple and pear character, to which winemaker J-L Groux added some buttered-toast flourish by ageing the wine 271 days in French oak. It's creamy yet elegant, with a hint of grilled pineapple on the finish. Pair with grilled pork chops and local asparagus. (Vintages panel, May 2018) Price $ 28.20
