SÜSSRESERVE RIESLING 2016 VQA Niagara Escarpment
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ROSEWOOD
Mature bright very very light yellow colour. Slightly spicy, honeyed, apple puree nose. Fairly dry, medium-light bodied, spicy, baked apple puree flavours with a lingering, crisp, unoaked, fairly high acid finish. Does not show a lot of phenolic ripeness. Has 11.2% alcohol and 11 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. This REPEAT seems somewhat better that the 2016 (*/*+) released on November 11, 2017 at $15.95.
