| Deep intense purple colour. Spicy, fairly juicy, forward, tinny, tropical fruit cocktail nose with some baked cherry and cedar notes. Off dry, medium bodied, very spicy, baked cherry flavours with a lingering, faintly tropical, somewhat cedary, tinny finish. Tasted twice - I was not keen on this Malbec. Has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L04910 on the back label. The 2009 (*+) was released on November 14, 2015 at $17.95. |
