TORFA HIGHLY PEATED HIGHLAND SINGLE MALT Single Highland Malt
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer GLENGLASSAUGH
Bright light yellow colour. Lovely, intense, complex, somewhat smoky, warm, ripe, plum-lemon-vanilla nose with some oaky notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, harmonious, intense, complex, smoky, spicy, honeyed, ripe, somewhat candied, apricot-plum flavours with a long, lingering, very bright albeit surprisingly smooth, caramel-tinged finish. Has 50% alcohol and with lot number 2018/02/12 LL1400L on the lower part of the glass bottle. This is a rather unique, remarkably tasty, Highland Single Malt - certainly one of the smokiest I have experienced, but with terrific harmony and length. Quite delicious. CSPC 554477

TASTING NOTE: This peated Highland single malt opens with rich aromas of a summer campfire and hints of bright citrus zest. On the palate, it's full of baked fruit and biscuits, with hints of salted taffy and ginger, sustained by persistent smoke throughout. Extraordinary, Ultimate Recommendation.
