Deep ambering orange colour. Very sweet, spicy, clove and raisin tart nose with hints of balsamic and airplane glue. Sweet, medium-full bodied, dense, intense, distinctive, very spicy, candy cinnamon heart flavours with some baked apple notes. An Austrian Alp specialty, Stroh Jagertee (hunters' tea) is rum (40.9% alcohol), blended with spices, black tea extract, lemon and caramelized sugar and was developed by Sebastian Stroh in 1864. Try as a shot over ice. Last appeared in Vintages (*+/**) on December 7, 2002 at $17.75 (#735415).
