CLOSSON CHASE VINEYARD PINOT NOIR 2016 VQA Prince Edward County
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CLOSSON CHASE
Medium purple red colour. Very spicy, ripe plum-cherry nose with some complex beetroot-sandalwood notes. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, nice mouthfeel, bright, ripe plum-crancherry flavours with a lingering, very gently cedary, fairly high acid finish. Quite ready-to-drink. Has 12.3% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. Tasted twice. Unfortunately, a second bottle had some acetic notes.
