Extremely deep intense purple colour. Peppery, tight, intense, dried plum nose with some sandalwood notes. Very dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, solid, slightly spicy, faintly dusty, dried plum nose with some grippy tannins on the lingering, high acid, faintly herbal finish. Has 14% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number L18122 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / BUY - Lightly floral, blackcurrant and cedar nose; medium to full-bodied, dry, savoury, blackcurrant flavour; firmly structured with ripe tannins. |

TASTING NOTE: This is a red that shows a green olive and berry character with hints of rose stem. Full body, firm and silky with a very pretty intensity and linear line through the middle palate. I like its muscular tension. Needs two or three years to soften. Score - 92 (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, June 21, 2017) |
