| Not presented at the press and/or consultants preview in the LCBO lab. Here s my tasting note from a sample provided by the winery. Bright extremely pale straw colour. Very honeyed, spicy, floral, sweet, slightly baked, apple purée nose. Sweet, light bodied, honeyed, ripe apple purée flavours with a lingering, very spicy, still faintly leesy, poached pear finish. This straightforward Ontraio VQA Riesling is a ready-to-drink, crowd-pleaser and is best well chilled with appetizers, spicy cuisine, dessert and/or cheese. Has 12% alcohol and 38 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. |
