Bright medium straw colour. Gently spicy, fairly complex, somewhat cedary, warm lemon nose with some slightly resiny, tropical notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, quite spicy, fairly cedary, ripe lemon-melon flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, faintly tropical finish. Best with poultry and white meats. Has 13.5% alcohol. The 2014 (**/**+) was released on May 13, 2017 at $19.95. CSPC 430991

TASTING NOTE: This Ontario classic is barrel fermented and aged sur lie (on the lees) for up to a year. It is an intense, complex wine with a creamy mouthfeel and rich apple, tropical fruit, vanilla, toast, toffee and sweet cedar tones.
