TASTING NOTE: The folks at Pelee Island Winery have big hopes for their island and the world at large. To save the island's unique red cedar savannah forest from extinction, they bought it. \"If our island community can [become] North America's greenest community it will spur others to take action around the country; an eco-friendly drive that can only benefit everyone.\" An idea to think over while enjoying the juicy, ripe dark fruit and vibrant food-friendly acidity in this big, rich red.
