Bright very light yellow colour. Intense, slightly spicy, ripe lemon meringue nose with lots of cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, spicy, intense, lemon-pear meringue flavours with a lingering, seemingly excessively cedary, very crisp finish. This REPEAT has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. The 2015 (***) was last released on September 30, 2017 at $33.95. CSPC 208694

Made by the Wyse family, this Chardonnay was awarded a Silver Medal at the 2018 Pacific Rim International Wine Competition (that's Pacific Rim the locale, not the movie - the wines are not judged by giant robots). Expect ripe citrus and orchard fruit with subtle tropical fruit and oak notes, and pair the wine with lobster tail or pork chops. Price $ 33.95
